The lightweight design of the J/Boats J111 makes it take off in the slightest gust, so it is like sailing a 36 foot sports dinghy. J/Boats J111 has made a name for herself in one design events, as well as the major classics including Fastnet, Rolex Middle Sea. Winning track records around Hong Kong on the J/Boats J111 include Spring Cup, Summer Cup, Spring Regatta, China Coast Regatta, Round the Island Race, Port Shelter Regatta, and theTyphoon series. In 2021 J/Boats J111 took the top 3 places overall in the Chicago to Mackinac race.
